Volume residential projects rarely fail on the invoice. They fail on batch three: the show unit looked right, the third batch shows a visible colour shift, and the final batch arrives after the handover date. None of it is visible at tender stage, and all of it lands on the delivery schedule for the whole building. YHOPE (Guangdong Shunde Yuanhe Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.) has built smart switches and smart home OEM since 2009; this page sets out the four things a developer project has to settle — series, sequencing, acceptance and customization — and the series and modules that carry them.

Three delivery pain points developers know well

1. Colour and appearance drift between batches

The risk is not a single defective panel — it is one floor reading visually different from the next. This happens when a project mixes series or colour standards across buildings. The fix is to fix appearance parts to one series and one colour standard, and to use the sealed show unit as the reference.

2. Delivery sequencing against the handover schedule

A single end-of-project shipment puts everything on the critical path. Delivered in phases, early installation findings are absorbed within later batches instead of blocking handover. Two quality controls belong in the contract as well: every shipment must carry a collection scan record, and SN labels are verified before dispatch — these determine whether batches remain traceable later.

3. Acceptance, certification and spares

At acceptance, the project needs per-model documents, not a general claim, and an agreed spare-part route for later maintenance. "Certified in general" and "this batch against this standard" are separate checks.

One series to cover every unit type and point

Volume projects carry many unit types and scattered key requirements. Choosing a separate series per unit type turns spare parts and colour consistency into a disaster later. The workable approach is to pick one base series with strong configuration capability. The X18L configurable series (Zigbee, grey / gold / white) supports free 4-key / 8-key configuration, and within one series you can build 2-gang dimming plus 2 scenes, single/dual motor curtains, 1 fan plus 1 switch plus 4 scenes, 40A dual-pole plus 4 scenes, touch thermostats, and 2/3-pole socket plus USB-C. That means every point in a one-bedroom to three-bedroom unit can come from one series, with colour and appearance consistent across the building. For a glass direction, the X39AG, X83-Glass, X8AG and D60AG series are the reference points; other panel directions include X30, X31, X88 and Y2.

Delivery schedule in three layers

• Layer one — show unit. Produce a show unit and settle colour, backlight, engraving and feel in one pass. Current published lead times: samples 10–15 days from sample approval.
• Layer two — phased delivery. Order and deliver in batches by building or floor (PC spray finish around 20 days, aluminium finish around 30 days), so issues exposed in the first installation are absorbed within later batches.
• Layer three — contract terms. Write the spare-part ratio and replenishment response into the contract, together with "collection scan record per shipment" and "SN label verified before dispatch".

Customization boundaries to agree early

Customization spans appearance and documentation. On appearance, we offer laser engraving down to 0.3mm for brand marks and function labelling, and glass panels are available as single units for later maintenance. On documentation and packaging, custom printed packaging requires the client's trademark registration certificate — a prerequisite that must be completed before scheduling or it will block the lead time outright. On volume, orders of 2,000 units or more are handled as standard OEM (customer model number plus generic manual), which suits developer projects wanting simple packaging and fast delivery.

A: Glass panels can be supplied as single units for appearance replacement or local maintenance. If function or gang count changes, the replacement route depends on the series — which is why the base series and spare-part strategy should be fixed at tender stage.

Q5: What are the thresholds for OEM branding, and what is the MOQ?
